Summary of work performed:
This project consists of 2 to 4-lane widening including roadway, water lines, sewer lines, drainage, and realignment of the canal. Inspection duties include verification testing and inspection of all earthwork related activities and materials (pipe backfill, embankment, subgrade, and base rock) and concrete for sidewalks and curb and gutters. Administrative duties include review of submittals (such as shop drawings and RFI’s), review of contractor’s schedule, control and verification of materials, review of contractor monthly pay estimates, tracking of quantities, and review of plan revisions.
